Quick User Guide (up to v1.3.1)

Please follow these steps to get started with this application:
(Note: For the moment, the following guide is the same as what you can find in aCar application, but at a later time I will update this to include more detail and perhaps some screen shots for better understanding.)

Customize the application
If you want to change the units (Miles, Gallons, Kilometers, Liters, etc), currency, date format and many other options to fit your needs, just press your phone's MENU button (usually a hardware button on your device) to launch the application menu and select Settings from there.

Enter Vehicle(s) information
This must be done before taking any other steps. Tap on the vehicle bar (the blue bar at the bottom) on the main screen to launch the New Vehicle screen. Enter your desired information, customize the default service reminders for your vehicle if you want, and tap on the SAVE icon at the top bar to save your vehicle and return back to the main screen. You will notice your vehicle name shown at the vehicle bar.

Enter fill-up and service records
While you are on the main screen, you see two icons at the top (blue) bar. One of them (TOOLS icon) is for adding service records and the other one (GAS PUMP icon) for adding fill-up records for your vehicle. Icons have been added there after you've entered your vehicle(s) information.

Enter Fill-Up Record
Tap on the GAS PUMP icon at the top (blue) bar of main screen to launch New FillUp Record screen. Fill as much information as you like and tap on the SAVE icon at the top bar to save the record and return back to the main screen. You need to enter more than one fill-up record to have fuel efficiency (MPG) of your vehicle be automatically calculated.

Enter Service Record
Tap on the TOOLS icon at the top (blue) bar of main screen to launch New Service Record screen. Fill as much information as you like and tap on the SAVE icon at the top bar to save the record and return back to the main screen.

Edit Vehicle and customize Service Reminders
As soon as you enter a service record for your vehicle, there will be reminders (both time and distance based) set for the next service of the same entered type (e.g. Oil Filter) for not to miss them in future. To see the active reminders for your vehicle, tap on the vehicle name at the vehicle bar of the main screen. You can edit the vehicle to customize it's reminders. Tap on the EDIT icon at the top bar while viewing your vehicle details.

Summary information on vehicle bar
While you are entering more records for your vehicle(s), you will notice that the vehicle bar (blue bar at the bottom of the main screen) gets updated with the latest summary information (average fuel efficiency, total costs, records count, etc).

Search and Filter
If you want to search/filter your entered information, tap on the SEARCH icon at the left side of the top bar on main screen to see a quick inline search/filter bar. If you need a more advanced search facility, tap on the ... icon there!

Charts, Reports and Statistics
After entering some records and while you are on main screen, you may tilt your phone (turn it 90 degree counter clockwise) to go to landscape mode and to see some charts and reports. You can do the same while you are in search/filter mode, and you'll get the charts only for the filtered set of records. While you are viewing the first chart in landscape mode, just swipe on screen (like on iPhone) to see the next charts/reports.

Manage Services
If you want to customize the list of services aCar recognizes, just press your phone's MENU button (usually a hardware button on your device) to launch the application menu and select Manage Services from there. You may add your desired services you would like to track on your vehicles.
